The Stolzer Method
Our philosophy is as unique as it is simple: Communicate and teach information to each dog the way they are each designed to learn it.
With the implementation of the Stolzer Method, all dogs are looked at individually. We don’t subscribe to any of the classical styles of training. We believe in training dogs the way they are designed to receive information. The Stolzer Method looks at the facts of canine behavior as shown through consistencies in science and the species. The results are what makes us the best.
The Stolzer Method isn’t difficult to understand nor does it require you be an expert to utilize its cornerstones. We know that all dogs learn on a similar platform, however there are distinct differences that make each dog unique. For example, some humans are auditory learners, while others are visual learners. Not understanding this can lead to confusion or even result in a failure to learn. Dogs process information using their instincts.
The Stolzer Method identifies and rosters the top three instincts that a dog uses individually, maps those instincts to show both negative and positive traits of those instincts and then develops a customized curriculum based on that information. The results are a happy, goofy silly dog that happens to be incredibly obedient.
Four cornerstones of Canine Inc.’s training methodology:
- The education for each dog is customized to meet individual needs.
- Always be fair, consistent and loving to each animal.
- Take care of our human clients, too, through education and accessibility.
- A lifetime guarantee: every client that purchases In-Kennel Training will have access to follow-up services for the life of your dog.
