Jon Stolzer: Owner/CEO

Jon stolzer

Jon Stolzer is the owner and founder of Canine Inc, based just south of Nashville, TN. He is an expert Canine Behaviorist and Training Specialist as well as a Police K-9 Instructor/K-9 Unit Reserve Deputy. In 2010, he became a proud member of The Pedigree Foundation Advisory Counsel. In addition, he is an educator for Mars Petcare, the largest pet care company in the country and the second largest in the world. He works on authoring their corporate pet policy and providing seminar education for their company.

Education and Accreditations

Jon received his diploma at Texas's Triple Crown Academy, the top canine behavior and training school in the country. This intense program allowed him to log more than 1,300 hours in training methodologies, diagnosing behavioral issues, and applying rehabilitation techniques. Jon graduated as a Canine Behavior and Training Specialist.

Next, Jon formalized his education in Police K-9 training at the North State K-9 Academy in North Carolina. His 500-plus hours of instruction here focused on: training dogs for patrol, detection, search and rescue; SWAT; corrections; bite suit work; and sleeve training (hidden and trial).

Canine Inc. Proves to be a Success

After he finished his education and training, Jon wasn't ready to leave the South he' grown to love. He decided to open Canine Inc. in the Nashville area in August of 2007. Canine Inc. has become one of the most exclusive dog training and obedience programs in the country.

Jon lives on the Canine Inc. property with his two dogs, Apollo and Tank. Apollo is a German Shepherd that was imported from the Czech Republic. He works with Jon as a Police K-9 patrol dog. Tank is a Lab/Golden mix and is a happy-go-lucky boy.

Reserve K-9 Deputy

Jon has been deputized through Maury County Sheriff's Department to serve as a K-9 Deputy for both suspect apprehension and narcotics detection work with his personal dog Apollo. He feels honored to be able to serve with the Department and to give back to the community in this way.

Brent Greer: Canine Caretaker

Brent greer

Brent Greer has been involved in the professional dog world for over 6 years and has been working with dogs his entire life. Brent previously worked with the Cheetam County Animal Control for over 6 years caring for shelter dogs. He specialized in transporting, fostering and providing medical care to the shelters dogs. Brent also organized adoption events provided that extended all over the eastern United States from Florida to Maine.

Brent also has a passion for German Shepherd's. He founded a German Shepherd Rescue three years ago to help German Shepherds in need find good loving homes. Brent also has 5 dogs of his own and is currently undergoing an intensive training program at Canine Inc. to become an In Kennel Trainer.

Bonnie Garner: Business Manager

Bonnie Garner is unique in her successful and groundbreaking career in music and television. She has managed stars' careers, run a record company's A & R department, booked venues and major television shows, tour managed various European, U.S. and Pacific Rim tours and booked several Farm Aids.

During her 35-year career, she has served on the boards of Animaland and the Elephant Sanctuary, was a founding board member of NMA, and won a Grammy in 2002 for Best Country Album for co-producing "Timeless." She maintained memberships in ACM, NARAS, NAPM, and CMA. She also co-produced six television specials for TNN, edited a book, and set up and ran a celebrity charity Archery tournament.

She retired from the Music Industry in 2007. She now spends her time volunteering at Saddle Up, a therapeutic riding program. In December of 2009 she received her instructor's certification from NARHA. Bonnie works with Jon Stolzer's Canine Inc as a business advisor. She is also active in animal rescue. She presently serves on the boards of "Kids On Stage" and the "Tennessee Animal Resource Center."

Nick Vincelli: Protection Decoy and Trainer in Training

Nick Vincelli is a talented Protection Decoy and spent his whole life with a passion for dogs. He knew since he was a young boy that he would grow up to become a professional dog trainer. While getting experience learning about canine behavior and training from boarding facilities and daycares, Nick wanted to develop his education to the next level.

Nick has always been fascinated with protection dogs and embarked on a journey to become a Protection Decoy and Dog Trainer. A Protection Decoy is a highly skilled training position in which the individual wears a series of different bite suits or sleeves. Their job is to develop the natural instincts in a protection dog through a technique we call drive channeling. This is where the Decoy brings out the different instincts in the dog one at a time and channels back and forth to develop the strength and reliability of each instinct. A Decoy is also responsible for helping train appropriate bite and grips along with many other complicated responsibilities.

Merissa Allen: Office Manager

Merissa Allen is an amazing part of our team at Canine Inc. Aside from being an avid dog lover, she is a recent graduate of Middle Tennessee State University. Miss Allen earned a Bachelors Degree in Science and Psychology with two minors, one in Health and Human Performance and another in Mental Health. Miss Allen has brought her love for animals and combined it with her intelligence and organizational skills to manage the office here at Canine Inc.
